I'd like to say a very big thank you to all the staff at Halfords who fixed my car yet again today. Its nice to have someone take the time to explain the problems with my car in a way I would understand! I've never been charged more than what I've been quoted, in fact I was actually charged less than quoted today which definitely put a smile back on my face. I'm grateful for the honest, reliable and friendly service each time I've popped in. Thanks again guys.
Very good service. It was easy to book my car in for MOT at short notice via the online booking system, and it was all sorted and done within a couple of hours. The mechanic found an issue that my normal garage missed when I had a full service a month ago, and explained exactly what was wrong in terms I could understand. Since I am selling my current vehicle, I won't be getting the work done, but I will defo bring the next car I buy in for a pre-purchase examination because the fellow knows his onions.
Took better half's car in for 2 new tyres (having booked on line prior to visit). All staff were very polite and welcoming; paperwork took just seconds. I left vehicle and wandered round town and was contacted very soon afterwards.The whole process was simple from start to finish - and very stress-free. I will certainly use this autocentre again. Having had a free MOT voucher with a purchase from Halfords, I was a little sceptical that it might be a sprat to catch a mackerel, particularly as I added an annual service as a special offer was being run at the time I booked. However I should not have worried, all was well and I was only charged what I was told to expect. The car was thoroughly inspected and I would have every confidence to use this garage again.
