Went there on Tuesday my wife had roast very little meat roasters sprouts were rock hard /I had hunters chicken it was covered in breadcrumb batter and a load of barbecue sauce couldn't see the bacon they said was on it. chips were over done. Worst roast dinner & hunters chicken I have ever had and we'll over priced.
Disappointing, asked for table for 2 told would see what could be done, waited at bar in the time it took to drink a beer three other couples without reservations were seated. left and went to Old Rydon Inn excellent service and great food. New owners at Ten Tors need to take some lessons from the established places
Servers didn't seem to know what was going on. I had my meal last of all and 3/4 of the group had finished their meal before I was served. Had the gammon I understand it can be salty bit this was just nuts as can't taste any flavour but salt. The appearance of the place is much better and was hoping for better with the food after hearing good things since the change of ownership but I am not convinced.
Came here for birthday get together. We would normally have gone a place further along the road but very glad we came here instead. Nicely decorated with good ambience. Staff helpful and cheerful. Had the carvery (cheaper for the over 55s ), good selection of fresh veggies on offer. Could do with one healthier pudding option. Enjoyed it will be back.
Absolutely the best. God knows where they got their chef from but he's absolutely brilliant. What these new people have done is fantastic. Completely turn this pub around. Made it special now. A nice place to go in the evening for food or just a drink. Staff are lovely. They couldn't do more for you. Very friendly and polite. Especially little lewis behind the bar.
